High School Youth Ministry

As youth begin High School, their lives get a lot busier. A lot of them (and their parents) make the mistake to “free them up” from religious studies because life is, well, busy. We are here to help them keep things in holy perspective. (For more on that, go to our prayer page).

Our Goal of Youth Ministry is three-fold:

  • to empower our young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today;
  • to draw our young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of our Catholic faith community; and
  • to foster personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

What do We Offer?

JPII Final

 “JPII Crew” High School Youth Ministry
In the spirit of Saint John Paul II,  Annunciation YOUTH offers our high school youth various means to grow in relationship with one another in faith. Our High School Youth Group name is “JPII Crew” , honoring Saint John Paul II – “Totus Tuus!” (I am yours).

“Café Night”

These evenings provide opportunities for high school fellowship while enjoying food, games, good conversation, and faith. We build a meal together, and share life while sharing in our labor of love.  Cafe’ Nights take place one night a month.

This year we will add a place to crash, play games and just hang out with friends, or study. So, let us know what days work best for you in the below survey:

Our vehicle for formation is YDisciple. Unlike the conventional, large group experience offered by parishes for youth, YDisciple is a small group discipleship program where teens invest in one another and become inspired to know and live for Christ. Parents too play a pivotal role, ensuring their teens have a great experience of faith.
